"How do the competitors showing their dogs react to your judging placements?"
"Well, it depends on whether they win or lose!!!!"
"Are there any AKC judge/judges that you admire?"
"There are a few that stand out. One is Annie Clark. Annie was the first woman to win at Westminster. She helped write many of the breed standards that we read today; English Cocker Spaniels and Poodles are just a few examples. She has a vast amount of knowledge and she shares that knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn. During the years that I exhibited under her, I always felt like she was enjoying her assignments and every dog was given full consideration while she was judging."
"Frank Sabella gave me my first "Best of Breed" win with my first show poodle puppy. This was many, many years ago. He was certainly one of the top handlers in his time. Now as a judge, Frank spends many hours passing his knowledge on to the newer judges."
"Last but not least is Michelle Billings. Michelle enjoys judging, always has a smile on her face and is the epitome of a lady."
