        Ms. Taurasi is an experienced business woman with over 35 years of knowledge in a business environment.  She is also a breeder of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog and the Black Russian Terrier. 
   
       A graduate of the Copley Secretarial Institute and Chandler School for Women in Boston, Massachusetts, she began her career at Tufts University, Boston School of Occupational Therapy and Boston University School of Medicine. 
   
       After moving to the west coast, she worked as an administrator at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. She received her Certification of Authorization for Services as a Director of a California Private Post secondary Educational Institute, approved under California Education Code Section 94311(a).  
  
       Ms. Taurasi brings to the school a strong business background in an academic setting, as well as her all-round business abilities.
